Join us on an unforgettable photo tour or workshop to explore the beauty of the Southwest’s most captivating destinations, including Moab, Arches, and Canyonlands National Parks, alongside several other remarkable locations.
Situated amidst the red rock wonders of Arches National Park, the sandstone landscapes of Canyonlands National Park, and the National Forest of the La Sal Mountains, our journey will also lead us to renowned spots like the famous Dead Horse Point State Park and Goblin Valley.
Moab, Utah, in particular, offers an array of opportunities for landscape photography. Not only will you have the chance to capture breathtaking scenes, but you will also have access to some great dining options and a multitude of nearby photo-worthy locations. Fall color is at its peak during this time and we will photograph the golden hues along the Colorado River. We will also venture out past dark for a night or two to photograph the Milky Way.
Arches National Park
Arches boasts more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches making it the world’s largest concentration of arches. These impressive geological formations are the result of millions of years of erosion, leaving behind stunning delicate arches of various shapes and sizes. Arches is a must-see destination for any nature photographer.
Canyonlands National Park
Canyonlands is about vast open spaces that conjure images of the Old West. Spanning over 337,598 acres, it encompasses a vast and diverse landscape characterized by deep canyons, towering mesas, dramatic arches, and winding rivers. It is rugged and untamed. The photography options are endless.
Dead Horse State Park
Located near Moab, Dead Horse State Park is known for its unique geological features, breathtaking views, and rich cultural history. The park is situated on a high mesa overlooking the Colorado River and offers panoramic vistas of the surrounding red rock canyons.
Goblin Valley
Located along the San Rafael Reef, Goblin Valley State Park is unlike any other place in the world. The landscape, covered with sandstone “goblins” and other fascinating formations, is often compared to Mars. Photograph this amazing place and explore the surrounding canyons.
