Kenai Fjords National Park in the Fog

Foggy Days are great for photography. It adds a sense of mystery. Shapes become the priority over color. I love to take advantage of the variety in the weather. We had the boat loop this area a few times so we could have a variety of compositions

Kenai Fjords National Park in Alaska is probably the most beautiful park I have ever seen. I lead photo tours and workshops to this place every year. Every time I enter the park I never know what kind of adventure is in store for my group.

It is mostly accessible by boat. We use a private boat so we can make sure we spend the most time at the best places.

It looks great with a sense of mystery in the fog. You never know what is around the corner either.

The following marine mammals can be found in the waters around Kenai Fjords National Park. Sea otter. Dall's porpoise. Harbor porpoise. Steller sea lion. Harbor seal. Orca (Killer Whale) Fin whale. Gray whale. The seabird colonies and eagles are incredible also.

We explore coastal rainforests, tidewater glaciers and remote Alaskan islands.
